They are incredible. I have seen this out at Katmai National Park while leading a tour for National Geographic Adventures. Katmai is the premier location the see brown bears. Safe travels!

Hi Vicky,
I will post some photos and videos from a trip I took to Katmai in the coming months. It is such a neat place. I was several yards from several bears walking out to the viewing platform. They just ignored us. To the first time bear viewer it is a bad lesson because you just don’t get that close to bears elsewhere….
